Thank you!!!

Thank you to everyone who was a part of the 2012 Transcending Boundaries Conference.  It was another amazing weekend of exploring, community, education and fun!  The theme of 2012's event was "Bringing us all together", and we truly did.  

If you missed it, the event opened with a celebration of Intersex Day of Awareness.  Saturday, Ignacio Rivera gave a moving keynote speech on activism, allies and working across communities.  And even with the impending winter storm, Sunday was full of activity and excitement.  Throughout the weekend topics around gender, sexuality and relationships outside of the traditional binaries were discussed, as well as the intersections with feminism, faith & spirituality, arts and more.  

The board of Transcending Boundaries Inc. thanks everyone for their attendance and the hard work of the volunteers who made it happen.  We're already planning for the 10th Transcending Boundaries Conference, likely to be held in the spring of 2014.  If you'd like to be kept informed of updates, please sign up for our mailing list on the right side of the page.  You can also follow the latest news via our Facebook page and Twitter account.
